Character Design Concepts - Kintai & Fitcheto

Kintai - early teen who will become one of the best Japanese wood craftsmen.

Fitcheto - based on the real figure of greatest Bulgarian architects and craftsmen Kolio Fitcheto

Happy to finally share some concepts from an awesome project that I did for Studio Zmei!
I created two kid characters for short animation - one was based on an actual figure and the other was fictional based on some legends and old stories. We had to do a lot of research on the clothing of the time period and the tools that were used from stone and wood craftsmans in that time.
